I am a multidisciplinary artist and my work is related with photography, installation, painting. I am also a curator. I graduated from Stieglitz State Saint Petersburg Academy of Art and Design, where much of the studying was based on enriching the visual experience through exposure to the work of students from other departments. As an interior designer, I create installations that include plastic architectural elements and photo broadcasts, immersing the viewer in the environment and a specific condition.

I also work with themes of emptiness, timelessness, loss, and absence of a person. Ideas of emptiness transform into the study of a person lost in time and space. I work with interdisciplinary projects and with specific space in the context of our time. Based on the results of such research, practice is carried out here and now, using local places for presentation.

In 2015 we created the cultural center SKLAD in Sukhum city in the republic of Abkhazia with my friend Asida Butba. This center was opend for 3.5 years (2015-2019). SKLAD was an independent cultural institution with an innovative approach in a specific place. I was a co-founder, exhibition curator, and art manager of this center. I managed contemporary art exhibitions, film screenings, an urban forum, discussions, master classes and etc. Many events were supported and collaborated with the Swiss Artasfoundation. in SKLAD were summer schools for students, exhibitions of contemporary art, and master classes.

The center was closed in 2019. All these years it worked in the warehouse of the Abkhaz Drama Theater. Two years later, after the pandemic, the center was opened again in a new location. But I left Abkhazia and now I am working on my own personal projects. Since 2021 I have lived and worked in Russia in the North Caucasus in the resort Kislovodsk.

Currently my projects explore themes of timeless values, local culture, mythology and the digitalization of the modern world.
